How I match points on 45 Degree Diamonds - for lone star quilts, etc!

Matching points on 45 Degree Diamonds- such as those in lone star quilts - can be tricky. Here's how I match those points once I am at the stage of joining rows.

You will need a Frixion pen or air erasable/water erasable marker, plus a clear ruler and a flat headed pin for each seam you want to match.

Thank you! I cut my pieces exactly. Usually cut a tad larger then pattern stipulates and square up after sewing. So this time I've really struggled. Your method has been a fantastic help. My diamonds have perfect points with evenly lined up fabric edges. For adding the next piece.
