i love how in the footage it shows frames that primarily deal the same type of damage as the one being explained

One thing DE didn't consider is swapping impact and puncture makes their faction weapons not make much sense as they are usually designed to attack the other faction since they are at war. Now grineer weapons are good against grineer, and corpus weapons are good against corpus, which is kinda funny.

"I don't know how it chokes machinery" Have u ever had a clogged catalytic converter

“I’d go into the Railjack damage types, but nobody (the devs included) cares about those” -the subtext 2024

Well the alchemy mission in the sanctum actually suggests the elements we're using are actually more 'arcane' or 'alchemical' than anything standard, so the weird effects and bizzare combinations are kinda explained in lore.

29:30 Small correction about Void status effect: the bubble is centered where the target was shot, not exclusively their head; so you might wanna make sure that the hit that procs Void is aimed at the head for more damage.

A note about Deimos infested and viral, a 50% damage reduction is noticeably better than before when they were outright immune to viral damage.
  • I don't know about anyone else, but I applaud the changes Reb, Pablo, and the team have been making to Warframe. The game, for me, has never been more fun and intriguing. I liked sitting there and getting into the weeds with the old damage system, but it was overly complicated if I'm being honest. The changes work well and I really like that suggested damage types are posted right on the node in the Star Chart. It's great for new and veteran Tenno. Plus, the way Pablo and Reb imagined what the statuses actually do has dragged Cold, Blast, etc up into relevance. Overall, I'm happy with this new system. Oh, AND, the changes weren't such that I had to go redo all my weapon mods (of which I have a lot I've invested in). I could if I really, really wanted to, but for now everything still works okay enough that I don't think it's necessary.

It's actually insane how Lavos just keeps getting better and better with every update. If you run Lavos with Kuva Grattler, Valence fusion and 2 Green Shards, you can get a fully automatic AoE weapon with full armour strip or whatever element you want/need in the moment, that IGNORES LINE OF SIGHT CHECKS. And you'll never guess who the only other frame aside from Protea is who can replenish archgun ammo.

Love that magnetic is just Viral for shielded and overguarded enemies now. The corpus shall tremble
  • @VideoKingist
So what I'm hearing is Blast + Gas is the anti-Deimos combo. Time to squash some bugs!
  • "I don't know how it chokes machinery, but let's not get into that." That's actually really simple to explain. Like how a computer needs a fan to cool off, machines use vents to circulate air and help keep things running smooth. What Gas basically does is pollute that same air and be too powerful for the filters, effectively causing it to break down as that bad air circles deep. So yes, you are choking machinery, just through their filtering systems.

With the new Radiation mods from WitW, I now wish there were other combined elemental mods, there's 1 afaik for viral, but it's a dual Prime teacup mod. That would be nice for even more build diversity.

Dude's so dedicated, he even leveled a normal Fever Strike just for a screenshot.

@theKengenineer, since the Jade shadows update, I noticed that if you use blast damage on your weapons, you can potentially down your allies as host in any missions. As a client, you are vulnerable to getting downed by the host or anyone using blast damage. My friend and I believe it's the blast status proc on enemies that causes these spontaneous one-shots. The host is immune to this bug.

“They are alive when they have health remaining, and dead when they don’t”. Wow, you’re telling me this now for the first time

“Babe wake up, new Kengineer post Jade Shadows just dropped!”
  • one weird exception i've found to xaku's void damage is that the vast untime can destroy the projections that thrax legatus create when using their beam attack, not super useful but could prevent a magnetic proc if you time it right
