War Thunder is the most comprehensive vehicle combat game out there, including 2500 tanks, planes, helicopters, and ships, from 10 major nations spanning the ‘20s to modern day, with a worldwide community of over 70M players competing in epic PvP battles!

Today, we’re going to take a massive Lego tank, and mount some interesting and unconventional weapons on it! We’ll start at level 1 with an elastic band shooter that will throw some small metal discs. At level 2, we’ll make a playing card shooter that throws them like little frisbees at speed. And we’ll see what some metal cards can do too. Then we’ll experiment with a tesla coil to turn our tank into a 'lightning tank'. Finally, we’ll see what happens when we mount our massive Lego coil gun onto this monstrous tank!

Let’s see what mischief we can manage…

  • Level 5: recreating the F22 complete with missiles in LEGO
  • Make a crossbow attachment! Like a Joerg Sprave magazine-fed one
  • As a warthunder player with ~700 hours, I can say that ur tank misses an very important feature called depression. Ur tank is so tall and the gun cant aim down would have got this thing be very ineffective in hilly locations. Its much like russian tank that have like half of the depression of american tanks. But overall very vool desing.
  • Now to mount a go pro and add remote video view for the tank

“Some people were concerned that the coilgun wasn’t the my safest creation, but at least I don’t need to be anywhere near it when the trigger is being pulled” immediately holds hand with target in front of it
  • Do u have mindstorms? Maybe program it to do autonomous driving and shooting at selected targets
  • already got the game but im all for supporting the snail
  • now use your spinning wheel to fire metal rods actually use 2 wheels that pinch the rod and have them at slight angles to each other so they impart some spin to the rod to stabilize it. You should be able to hit 300+ fps with ease even using lego provided motors and wheels etc. And that is with your large rods/cut nails
  • Mooom, the engineers are yearning for weapons development again!!
