It’s more than simply a catchy phrase; it’s an empowering statement that can change your life. You can use modern knowledge to make daily decisions on what foods to eat that can not only prevent disease, but preserve your vision and cognition as you age.

I’m excited to welcome Dr. William Li as our guest on the show today. When it comes to visual and cognitive decline, research shows that they’re usually tied to the same common causes. I looked at the transcript, and the 3 foods are: 1) Tea (Green, black, oolong, puer, etc...) 2) Berries (all of them) ok if frozen 3), Brassica. (Vegetables.) (Bok choy, green leafy, califlower, broccoli., Etc...) So...TBB for short. The transcripts are helpful, I think.

There are always negative comments and skeptics but let me say this….. I followed Dr. Lis advice and eat 1-3 kiwi fruit a day, cut out sugar totally along with flour. This wasn’t the goal but I am now free of arthritis! ! ! Wholesome foods play a big part on your wellness.

The foods mentioned are what I like, and we buy them, but the NUTRITIONAL value is an eye opener. like many I have a negative reaction to pepperoni and omega 6 foods from some meats. Omega 3 is found in fish but you need to do your homework and check for wild caught! At 83 I am In good Shape and NOT on meds! My Dr. told me to drink more water, my lipids profile is great, blood pressure is good and not mentioned is your need for exercise to make the body healthy! At 83, I'm STILL learning and Dr. Li is VERY interesting! The word DOCTOR means? There are drs. of Medicine, MD, of philosophy PH, a Dr. In mechanical engineering. So what does Dr. Mean? The word "DOCTOR" means TEACHER, and Dr William Li is one of the best, and I get a FRONT ROW seat at ALL his lectures! 😊

I just had an eye exam where they photographed my inner eye and the doctor told me my eyes looked perfect! I was shocked because two years before another eye doctor told me I had stage 1 cataracts... but now there was no evidence of it. The only thing I have done in the past 2 years is eat organic food, probably 90%. I take trace minerals, vit D3/K2, and a thyroid/adrenal supplement, all food based supplements.

Thank you! Now I come to realize why I don't get sick easily, as a senior, as those 3 foods that you mentioned are my daily foods, my protein is hard boiled egg, and I also believe in alternative medicine. Revelation 22:2 - "x x x The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

Dr Li is thorough and a teacher to trust he does his research. Jim Kwik did what seemed to be impossible: He found out how to learn self-taught. He persisted and finally shared his successes in college to learning troubled students. Persistent study and research opened new brain paths around damaged areas in his brain. He is a genius! 😁. Get his work and learn...

Last century there was a study showing that vision loss was easier to live with than loss of hearing in those who experienced one of them. In anticipation, vision loss was more feared, but the reality was that people suffered from more isolation without hearing.

41:21 My parents, who were immigrants from China, cooked dishes with a lot of fresh vegetables with minimal amount of meat. We hardly used canned vegetables. As I got older, I realized their diet was so much healthier by eating whole foods. I enjoyed listening and learning how simple changes in food choices can improve my health in the long run.

I wonder why people make negative comments when this guy clearly has studied all this information I mean do you really need the attention that bad
  • 😢❤...Born with vision problems is much more common in Asian countries than most other countries. He is not going blind....which Is the Condition he is taking about. Show Respect for his Knowledge and Not Pushing a Pill...
  • Let us thank God for the knowledge that He did give us foods and leaves for the healing of the nations. Most disease is due to eating dead foods not whole foods. Let’s take the knowledge of eating Whole Foods.

I have been fasting this week. No breakfast or lunch Monday to Thursday. Breakfast and evening meal Friday to Sunday and i have lost 4 lbs. Drink plenty of water with a splash of fruit juice and i havent felt hungry or had any cravings. It may not work for everyone but it works for me. I have both of Dr Li’s books and have been vegetarian for over 30 years and vegan for 4. But i havent been as active as i was 30 years ago so for 30 years i have gained weight. It has been a nightmare to get off. Diets dont work but following a lot of what Dr Li says has really helped. I was always thin until i reached 30. Then it just went down hill. My biggest issue was portion sizes. Always eat healthily but far too much at each sitting so fasting has helped me get back on track. Just try some of what Dr Li says he does make sense by making sure you understand the benefits of food and what they do for you. The right foods and the right quantities.

  • I do repeat what I learned years ago from Dr. Li. "Food is the medicine you take three times a day."
