Today we shall elucidate the sorrows of the Adeptus Astartes Chapter: The Flesh Tearers.

Suffering the ravages of the Red Thirst and Black Rage above all the successors of the Blood Angels, the sons of the venerated 5th company Captain: Nassir Amit uphold their founder's creed of violence in the name of the Emperor.

Resolved to die fighting in the name of the Imperium, it is the hope of all Astartes of the Chapter to die a valiant death before surrendering to their gen-flaws and succumbing to madness...

  • One of the most brutal 40k stories I have read was between the Flesh Tearers and the World Eaters and it ended with a duel between Seth and World Eater champion. Chainaxe vs Bloodreaver was a gory and wrathful contest between two men who only wanted to literally rip the other warrior into shreds. Great video. Your lore videos have helped me get absolutely hooked on everything Warhammer

14 hour wait, we are truly living in grim darkness.

The Knights of Blood know more of walking the red twilight of the 🩸 than any other in the legion more likely. They knew the end path and how only redemption came to them in the form of sacrifice, rage, the inner beast that kills for the thrill and ultimately taming it just enough to die and end the hunt so others may live. Knights of 🩸

Seth's interactions with Dante are some of my favorite parts of Devastation of Baal. Such a cool and conflicted character and chapter!
  • I love the Flesh Tearers; they are the greatest example of...If you can't fix it with words; throw some death company guys onto their ship while they are trying to get away and let them solve it.
  • Flesh Tearers, the most loyal version of Warhounds turned into Blood Angels... And I love them❤

Cursed above all of their gene-brothers? [Weeps in Lamentation]

🎼Here come the Red...🎶 A quite disturbing and unhinged little ditty at the end, that. You sure that that insanity isn't a sign of the Red Thirst coming on?
  • The Flesh Tearers while a more darker reflection of the Blood Angels are still noble defenders of mankind and the Emperor Imperium.
  • If lore about Sanguinius trying to find a cure for his flaw he would delight in new primaris flesh tearers
  • @chucklytell
The Flesh Tearers are the premier berserker chapter really, their very blood does naturally what the butcher's nails simulate. I think Seth is kind of a Loyalist mirror to Kharn too, what he could have been maybe even with the nails. Awesome vid

Yes my absolute favorite Legion. I named my bright red male Betta fish Gabriel Seth.

My brother Amit had best line of the heresy when each time he killed his chain brother athe bloodspitter. Each time "eat shit traitor“& ""I said eat shit traitor.

😆 If someone spots a contingent of Flesh Tearer Astartes heading their way, the first and most important thought is usually "Oh shit....."
  • The Flesh Eaters were pretty much the forerunner loyal chapter for being so savage that most other chapters regarded them as almost heretical for their practice of eating the flesh of their enemies as well as their own flesh. This was back in the early Rogue Trader days, before WH40k sorted itself into a more coherent game system/lore. There are some truly incredible chapters from the early days of what became WH40k that have been either forgotten or just written out of the new WH40k lore, such as the Rainbow Warriors, Mentor Legion, and their home-worlds/sectors of space. Some new gamers are now bringing these early chapters back into play, after being shown the early history of the Imperium from old copies of White Dwarf or by talking to gamers like myself, who were there when Citadel first started, later to become Games Workshop. I still have some old Imperial Guard painted up as the Spider tattooed Necromundan Guardsmen, who worshipped the Emperor as their Spider God, and tattooed a spider on their faces in his honour. I still like the Flesh Tearers chapter, but would still like to see the old Rogue Trader chapters brought into the light again, with all their flaws and history for new gamers to see and explore.
