Today we shall elucidate the depths of the mysterious Adeptus Astartes Chapter: The Carcharodons.

Lead by their imposing Shade Lord: Tyberos the Red Wake, the colloquially named 'Space Sharks' of the void hunt down their prey with eerie silence and swift strikes.

Reputed to be drawn from the stock of the 19th Legion, the Raven Guard, whatever their ancestry does little to explain their savage nature, pious devotion to the Emperor and resilience within the most treacherous dark corners of the galaxy...

In the honor of The Void Father... The Red Wake renders this chat: COMPLIANT

My favourite successor chapter. Tyberos is such a beast and it's so cool reading about these absolute monsters who tear their foes apart yet still use sensible, well considered tactics.

My Favourite Chapter, with their books as my introduction to 40k, especially Red Tithe. God that book was glorious, the Night Lords sh*tting themselves was hilarious when they fought and fled from the Sharks. "From the Void we come, nothing there and nothing more"
  • *When a Chaos Warband encounters a fleet-based chapter * Chaos Lord : Ah yes, sacrifices for our gods It is revealed that it is the carcharodons, sees the flagship Chaos Marine Trooper : uh sir we gonna need a bigger boat, a very big boat
  • @TenakaKhanPrime
I’m hoping for a book about the Carcharodons fighting the Nids below the galactic plane and reporting back the actual size of the Nid fleet.

The best space marines! Improvised armor. Been fighting terrors like Tyranids for ages. Chapter master is almost as big as a custodes.
  • The Space Sharks are a vicious space marines chapter that truly makes many followers of the blood god envious of their able to spill the blood of the enemies of mankind, and they create a legacy of fear that is persistent even when their allies know they fight on their side.
  • This chapter ranks above them all in my eyes. Even with dire circumstances, low material replenishments and brutal combat engagements they remain true to the Emperor.
  • @NemFX
They call their chapter founder the Forgotten. The two lost primarchs are called the Lost, and the Forgotten.
  • Imagine being just a random Chaos grunt and you see the Carcharadons, Executioners, Flesh Tearers, Black Dragons and/ or Red Talons being deployed against you, that surely would be a sight to make anyone question their faith.
  • @Mixu.
Thr best chapter out there that most people don't even know about. Glad to see any and all development they can get.

during Red Tithe, the Charcharodon company and the Night Lord warband both seemed like 2 sides of the same coin, with how both fought and how they were compared to each other aswell, to me it seems more like the author saying both are from the same blood but were raised very differently, I have heard that Sevatar hated how the criminals of Nostromo became astartes with no respect, but the Charcharodons are made entirely of highly disiplined astartes who are taken from penal colonies, redeemed for their crimes, and shown utmost respect, literary speaking, it'd make sense for the Charcharodons to be of Nightlord geneseed do to the high amount of similarities they share
  • @shad3revo111
Anyone saying the Carcharodons are Night Lords, search up the Corax Shark, yes it's a real thing.

I love the raven guard and space sharks. They were my first favorite but got superseded by the blood angels. I didn’t even know there was other legions. I found a ravenguard short story book in a box in Iraq. I grabbed it and everyone on team loved them. The shadow walkers were something else. Then I got home from Iraq and found the blood angels. Yup, that was the end for me. I had a ton of anger issues when I got home so it just felt right. It took me 8 years to check my rage and thirst for violence.
  • "And so, the grey-clad came from the outer night, and their jagged maw did swallow the stars, and their black gaze did mirror the void of oblivion. Their pale shadows fell upon the servants of the skulled-one with great fury from the darkness, unseen as the beast that lurks beneath the black waters, death for death, blood for blood... Thus were the sons of Sanguinius bought respite, and did turn back upon their pursuers, and so were the damned traitors of the false gods driven unto their ruin."
  • @darthbloodborn
the carcharadons in my opinion are a combination of nightlord terror tactics and world eater aggression and ravenguard stealth
  • As someone considering making my marine half of the leviathan carcharodons, this is amazing timing! Much love❤
