Tyberos is the largest Space Marine in the setting, but what actually makes him such a beast?

Tyberos is the Master of the Art of Invisibility by Standing Incredibly Still and it is Super Effective.

Inquisitor Integra: "Whatever you do, don't let Tyberos leave that room!" Space Shark Astarte: "He just left. He said he's going for a walk." Inquisitor Integra: "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

The fact that this guy broke a Dark Eldar Commander both Mentally, spiritually and turned him into a spy, should be enough to tell us about him.
  • @Volvith
Tyberos: >looking Guilliman straight in the eyes< Guilliman: "This is unnatural and i am uncomfortable."
  • @TheWarmachine375
Tyberos: "YOU DO NOT SEE TYBEROS!!!" Schmuck Space Marine: "Y-y-yeessssssss!"
  • Majorkill is the kind of guy who would be born as a Primarch but use his abilities to gaslight the entire universe to believing he never existed / died so he can do a full time job of explaining 40k lore

The mystery around this marine blends nicely with the whole “scary deep ocean leviathan” vibe because 1) you don’t really know how big he is just that he’s bigger than YOU 2) he strikes with overwhelming ferocity and 3) he keeps on swimming not even acknowledging you even existed. Exactly like a leviathan.
  • I think the most terrifying thing about Tyberos in my opinion is that yes he’s absolutely huge. However despite being that big is still the chapter master of a stealth based chapter of marines, so he’s that big and yet also stealthy just imagine turning around suddenly and you have a literal wall of armour and death staring down at you

Tybero may just as well be a Primarch size by the time we see him again in the novel. Because I refuse to think he will be the same and it would be funnier for his tech marine to keep complaining for having to modify Tybero armor.
  • I liked the moment when the Ashen claws chapter master (original owner of Hunger and Slake) demanded them back and Tyberos said something like "Try to take them". Dude calculated possible outcomes and backed down

Imagine if the Space Sharks being the Loyalist Night Lords chapter, that'd be pure unadulterated awesomeness.
  • "I cannot properly describe how violently this man will kill you. But if you are imagining being ripped apart by meat hooks, you're on the right track" -Reggie talking about Goritch. It applies to Tyberos as well
  • @Joseph-mw2rl
If tyberos undergoes Rubicon Primaris, he'd be as tall as guilliman and lion and taller than alpharius

Tyberos is the definition of 'fuck around and find out' and that is perfection considering his personality of being the 'quiet' type to listen rather than speak. One minute you standing there chatting away with him, mostly leading the convo, then the next minute your head is off your shoulders and careening through the air cus you said something that ticked him off and didn't even know.
  • @Elbisrever
I only just realised how similar Tyberos is to Grimlock of Transformers. One of the bigger bots. Kind of independent but still very loyal to "the good guys", and could take on the leaders from both factions and might actually win the fight. Even his colour scheme (grey gold and some black) is compatible, aswell as having a glowing red energy sword!
  • Tyberos reminds me of Fallout's Frank Horrigan. Absolutely monstrous, intelligent, should not exist for their size and speed, and just dreadfully real. So real. Hope they will write more about him in future books.
  • @feroexe7965
Imagine if Tyberos gets an upgrade and is equipped with Custodian Terminator armor, or something of equivalent value. He would be Corvus' rage personified
  • @trimeerious4349
Still waiting for the video about how each of the pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to being in Guillimans situation as imperial regent. Can't wait to see how lorgar for example would react to the highly religious empire.
  • @misplacedodst
I think an awesome and hilarious way to show Tyberos's girth would be to have a Bane Blade run out of gas in a battle, only for Tyberos to just pick it up and carry it the rest of the way.
