We really went from "Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?" to "We hereby conduct this post mortem"

โ€œHow did it endโ€ encapsulating the feeling of sadness and embarrassment of having to tell/explain to the people in your life why a long term relationship has ended while still trying to wrap your mind around what happened is so accurate.

i feel like Peter is what happened after Cardigan. She grew up and realized he would never do it. And mind you, Betty knew they were like Peter and Wendy. And James had always put himself in the "oh I'm just a kid" pisition.

With so much sadness on this album, I'm truly so happy that Taylor and her beloved ghost get to sit in a tree and do DIYs

I feel like Peter is not getting as much praise as it should be, but the girls that get it get it ๐Ÿ˜ญ

There is a legend about Albatross. They are meant to be a sign of good sailing, but if you harm one you will have a treacherous journey. There is a legend of a guy killing an albatross and his ship faced extremely dangerous storms. The idea that she can be the greatest thing and protect you but if you hurt her you will face wrath and pain. And the idea of something that can be so great but one wrong move can be very dangerous, so is it worth it?

Folklore and evermore are sisters but TTPD and Anthology are two best friends with same love injuries, but the expression is different.(Troy ily)

Great reaction! I think you might like I Hate It Here once you realize this song is a blueprint for how she wrote Folklore and Evermore. She was bored as can be, holed up with her love, and she gives him a prompt (Quick, quick tell me something awful) because she's SO uninspired to write. She then uses the prompt to come up with a song idea. She also had to escape her reality so much, that she came up with her own worlds--Folklore and Evermore. Secret Gardens in my mind? Also the lunar valleys could be a direct reference to Midnights. Its just a theory, but one I feel pretty solid about.

Also, the story of Cassandra is boiled down to she was cursed by Apollo to be able to see the future, but no one believed her... and she tried to warn people about the future but they killed her

People will assume a woman is stupid before they assume sheโ€™s not being serious.
  • @Michelle-ir6zt
For I Hate It Here, the 1830s is not a random decade that she chose. She chose it because thatโ€™s the age of the Romantics (in literature).

DIYing!? ๐Ÿ˜ญ "hey kids! spelling is fun!"
