  • In reality people don't care if you're disabled and will take advantage of you and abuse you because of it. They're no different from predators in the wild. It's happened to me repeatedly and it happened to me recently. Being unable to convince anyone of the truth, I simply avoid humans as much as possible.
  • Wow, Dhar Mann really stepping up his cinematography game by using that Hurrell lighting on the mom character ✨ I’m not a SSSniperwolf subscriber, but I appreciate her awareness and understanding of Autism.

This brings to mind something seen in a restaurant while I was a teen on vacation with parents and brother in beginning of 1980s. We were at I think a Captain D seafood restaurant in or near Savannah, Georgia. There at a nearby booth was a young couple with a maybe 5 to 7 year old boy in a booster seat at end of booth. Can remember all 3 of them wearing round lens wire frame glasses and having light colored hair. Server brought that family's food, set it down, and the boy became hysterically upset. Poor parents were clearly baffled and very stressed by the thing. Eventually the little boy regained his composure enough to communicate that his meal's serving basket was different style from what his parents were given. After I was diagnosed autistic in my 40s, that happening soon came to mind, and I wonder if that little boy was autistic and the sensory overload, the fatigue, the expectations, the emotional regulation difficulty, things were all in play there; and, I wonder if maybe even both of his parents were autistic but back in the very early 1980s had not been & could not get diagnosed. Sure want that family to have found out if autism was in play and to have had successful lives, whatever success looked like for them.

As someone on the spectrum, that tapping would annoy me too. Repetitive sounds annoy me to a point I feel like having an outburst. Pen clicking is one of them too and pencil tapping. "Loud and busy" why is she brining him to such a place? That is torture for the poor kid. I feel for that guy.
  • Dhar Mann appears to specialize in "morality plays". These are truly awful and hacky because they moralize and attempt to "educate" (brainwash) less, uh, cognitively robust people's attitudes and ethics without triggering any critical analysis. They rely on emotional manipulation - and, uh, it works. Have tears in my eyes seeing that autistic kid character and his mother bullied. The fact is, restaurants and supermarkets were where my "anxiety disorder(s)" and "panic attacks" (sensory - social overload induced meltdowns) first manifested. So I have mixed feelings about the video itself - it's hacky, but it's sympathetic to the sort of thing I'm still dealing with as a 59 year old adult. SSSniperwolf appears to be a cut-rate Shoeonhead type. She's leveraging / exploiting autism for clicks, but whatever - at least her take is sympathetic to the mom and kid. I'll take the awareness it raises about how sensory issues impact people like us - even if that awareness is presented in a somewhat ridiculous fashion. Remember - 50% of humanity have double digit IQs (through no fault of their own) Autism is a very complex neurological condition. Baller script move would be to reveal that the villain is himself autistic, and irritated so much because of his OWN autism induced sensory issues. Not his wife tho. She's just a rhymes with itch.
  • SSS is a faker gamer and a IRL stalker. She stalked Jacksfilms during his stream to the outside of his house. I know this is something most people know. But for you who didn't, or who didn't want to say it out loud.

My family and I went to lunch with another mom and her kids on a Sunday afternoon. 5 kids total 4 were undiagnosed autistic at the time. They were just having fun laughing and wiggling (we gave them their own table in the corner) and this lady comes up and asks if we were their parents. We confirmed. She told us we need to get our kids under control. I double checked to see what they were doing then looked back at her and said, “They are fine. They’re just being kids.” She told me they shouldn’t behave like that in public and I need to straighten them out. I told her “I don’t think so. Weren’t you leaving anyway?” I mean, she had her purse on her shoulder and was walking toward the door when she stopped at our table so… She glared at me and left. I sat down again and another customer leaned over and said, “I think those boys are sweet! Don’t listen the that old biddy.” I was like, “I know right?! She should see what it’s like when they ACTUALLY misbehave!” Then all adults laughed. ❤

I've learned of SSSniperwolf from commentary YouTubers... And let me tell you, this reaction of hers is automatically a red flag given the information about her.

The kid isn't even being loud. He's not even banging the spoon loud. Is this a movie? A commercial?

here we are in 2024 watching commentary on commentary of a video...Dhar Mann always having these overhanded yet socially conscious scripts (i think it's meant for children) but all in all i feel like this got more right than wrong in general messaging. hacky script though.

Oh i forgot how annoying Sssniperwolf's voice is..

What happened to coloring menus or books at restaurants? I mean, normally no kids go to fancy restaurants. You’d go to a family restaurant because ALL kids are loud😅 As an autistic kid, I was actually extremely quiet compared to neurotypical kids. But yeah, I’d get annoyed by noise of others. So don’t be ableist or misogynist because their husband may be rich and powerful? Would be nice if people could respect women and autistic people instead.
