Congratulations on the (near) completion of your gun room! As for the DT11 L, I must admit this is a wonderfully composed luxury shotgun. I am most impressed by the fact that it is a game scene with exquisite execution. Beretta out did themselves capturing the grace and essence of the birds. Sadly, I have seen much higher priced guns with much less attention to detail regardless of engraving method.

  • Great detailed review as usual Matt. Looking forward to a video of that Gunroom ;) - sounds like Disneyland to a fella like me...

Thanks for a nice overview of this rather pretty gun, Matthew. Consider adding pattern board/barrel regulation testing to your hands-on reviews. This is an important piece of information that potential buyers need - and would add real value to your content.

Thanks, I handled one of these at the Beretta gallery, the deep scroll, and it was very nice indeed. I wonder if you could talk about the various finishes over the years, as I like the satin smooth oil type finish rather than something shinier. Also when the L came out in ‘16 was the engraving less defined or deep, looking on guntrader, at some of the older Ls, it seems not as distinct. Cheers!
  • Fantastic review Matt. Subscribed straightaway and watched the DT11 Gold as well. How about doing one on gunfit please?

Excellent review as always, what a thing of beauty this gun is. Unfortunately I can only dream of owning one. You mentioned the nice trigger pulls. I know how important a good trigger is on a rifle but does it make any difference to your scores with a shotgun?

Love to own a DT11 one thing I struggle to get my head around, is the price difference between models. For example, the DT11 step rib 19% more expensive than the ACS. Both ribbed guns 1 adjustable 1 not.

Previous DT11 owner? What do you shoot now Matt?
  • @switch666.
A lovely gun, definitely on the list of aquirement! Have you ever heard of these locking up after becoming to hot ? Had a few friends tell me about this issue with the dt11.
