Stockport to Stalybridge via Denton Parliamentary Train

I have been fascinated by this particular "service" since I first heard about it in an article about Parliamentary Train services from around the country.

Until May 2018 the service became famous for having one train a week in one direction on Friday mornings. Since then, at the time of posting, it has a return service, now running on Saturday mornings. Running under the headcode 2J44, the initial service departs Stalybridge for Stockport at 08:46 and the return service, headcode 2J45, the 09:45 from Stockport to Stalybridge via Denton was what I caught on the day of filming.

The unit operating the service on the day was 156488.
