I can't with the chickenpox issue. The pilot was correct but the parents thinking they could fly with a child with suspected chickenpox is so incredibly selfish. Chickenpox is incredibly contagious and is still infectious towards adults which can be more serious than in children.
  • I was in Manchester airport a while ago, and i sat and watched a young couple running up to their departure gate claiming that they had been stuck in traffic and saying that's why they were late. The doors of the plane had already been closed and they were told that they would not be able to fly. They became quite angry and abusive, and were eventually escorted away by security. What they didn't know, was that at least an hour earlier, i saw the two of them in the duty free shop, trying out perfumes and aftershaves. Absolute morons. I took a lot of pleasure in seeing them being led off by security officers! : D

I LOVE THE COUPLE WHO RUNS THE BUSINESS.THEY'RE SWEET.
  • My best friend fm UK came to visit me here in Cayman Islands for this first time in 20yrs. On the plane her youngest deleloped spots (not there when boarding, apparently), but got here and my wee daughter got it. Spread round the island like wildfire. So, pilot made correct decision. No question.

The captain made the right call to not let the family fly seeing their child has chickenpox as it puts other passengers at risk of catching it. I should know because it happened to me on a flight to Florida back in 2012 and I nearly died. I was 27 at the time and I believe i caught it on the plane to Florida from another passenger. I was ok on the first week but on the second week, I was sick one night and felt drained for the rest of the week. As soon as we got home, a GP confirmed it was Chickenpox so went to hospital for three days. I hated every minute of it and was so glad to go home when I was better.
  • I don’t see how a person’s heart can take such a stressful job. Incredible people.

“We told the stewardess she had chickenpox and now they won’t let us fly” Yes because of course you are allowed to travel when you have a highly contagious disease.

Anita Escobar is clearly English yet has an excellent command of the Spanish language. Nice change of pace. ¡Buen trabajo Anita!
  • Anita’s job seems so stressful 😰 she’s always running round! I hope her and her husband are enjoying a nice relaxing retirement now! 😌
  • There’s so much work that goes on behind the scenes! Thank you so much everyone for all you do! I forget when I travel that I’m not the only one. It’s a very special day for me,but just routine for everyone who works there. You’re incredible!

That driver who got them to the cruise should be applauded. Gracias!
  • @MindiB
Sorry, but chicken pox is contagious until the “spots” have ALL dried and scabbed over, which takes at least one week from onset of illness. As unfortunate as it is, the pilot was correct—The child was contagious.
  • @thezmanchar
Look at Anita at the end, she is outside in the dark and her eyes are gleaming blue. She is stunning without a doubt.

I love old British television programs. The editing is also really good.
