  • Please, please make sure this car is properly insured for an “agreed upon” value. It would be so tragic if someone plows into it at a red light and totals it. It’s an amazing piece of work! Looking forward to the “One Million Mile LS430” follow-up.
  • @BS-zc4zo
haha totally take it to the Lexus dealer for an anonymous inspection, that would be great!
  • AMD, Let me join in the round of applause for this monumental achievement. 🥳🥳🙌👐👏🤯
  • Such a great job!!!! I also have LS430 2002, which is already 17 years in our family. Remember the first time when my dad bought it and gave me a ride from my university to home. This was the love at first sight. Now my dad is old and doesn’t drive. He wanted to sell it, but I persuaded him not to sell and this car is still with me. In spite of it has only 90k miles on the ODO, there is a lot of work to deal with. Scratches, oil leaks, and some other stuff. Engine is great and the car has no accidents and clean history. This car must live and with God’s blessing after some 20-30 years my children will still drive it and take care of it. You have the great channel, let God bless the work you do! Fully understand and respect the work you’ve done with your gorgeous LS! Such cars deserve it!!!! Hello from Kazakhstan!!!❤

Job well done!!!!! Amount spent is $62,000. Entertainment value over $1,000,000. I can’t think of any shows, movies, videos etc that have as much value as this series. As an ex LS430 owner it was especially interesting for me. I loved every one of these videos!!!! Like the show “This old House “ there is a cost to produce it. What you spent to produce this series is minimal and you ended up with a car that I would love to have. Well done!!!!
  • "I think we are now on the right track with this car..." That's an understatement, you've did a restoration on this car that some people could only dream of. It's been a total pleasure watching this journey.
  • @kimklim3267
AMD…what a great story…!!!! This isn’t just entertainment…this is professionalism…this is dedication…this is knowledge…this is passion…this is ART….and this is the very real… Lord be with you Ahmed..!!!!

As a LS430 owner always wishing to be able to restore my car to it's original glory, these videos always made me so happy as I vicariously lived through Mr. CCN. This car deserves it. Truly one of the greatest cars ever made.
  • @NVRAMboi
Well done AMD. I get it. When you have the resources, there are things far more important than money. In some way, this Lexus is symbolic of over 20 years of your life, love and professionalism for your work. The workmanship Toyota put into these cars is well worth saving and admiring. You have, in a sense, defied time. You should take her, and her story, over to Jay Leno's Garage to be celebrated further. Congratulations. I get emotional over certain vehicles myself.
  • @nbrowser
I'm a mechanic, I work in a shop that specializes in Mercedes Benz vehicles...and we treat those with the utmost in respect, I'd be terrified to touch this Lexus...it's just so damn perfect!
  • Hooray! You did it. I’ve been watching this project unfold and it’s been incredible what you’ve done with this beautiful Lexus.
  • Ahmed, I watched this series all the way from the start and I cried tears of joy at the end. What a beauty, what an achievemen! I had a car like this - a 2001 midnight blue EU spec - and that was the first and the last time when I felt love for a car. And I felt that she loved me back. You and me may be continents apart - yet we are together in our love for these wonderful machines.

My wife: "come watch the Olympics." Me: "No, I'm watching the Car Care Nut."
  • @anachromaly
1:47:22 "car enthusiasts, we do strange things that don't make sense to anybody" i lol'd :D such blatant truth for any enthusiast hobby!
  • @tomc8115
Nice! All of us who love our old cars & dream of restoring them to their former glory are living vicariously through you. Enjoy your LS!
  • Wow!!! I'm at a loss for words other than, Wow! GREAT SERIES ON THIS CAR. FANTASTIC YT CHANNEL................THANK YOU!
  • I totally get it. I have restored 3 cars in my life the same way. My 55 Chevy 2 dr hardtop I bought at a junkyard and restored it to pristine condition, but was then afraid to drive it. The second was a 1960 land rover series 80" that my son and i restored. He still drives it weekly 25 years later. There is no price on the satisfaction you get from bringing a beast you love back from the scrap yard. My third is a 1970 911S Porsche targa, still in process. Your series has renewed my interest in finishing this abandoned 40 year project. Thank you and congratulations. Job well done.
  • @sinister184
I think many people can fully appreciate where you're coming from here, Amed. I've owned expensive cars (to me) and sold them off without a care vs something cheaper I personally fixed up and put a lot of time into. I hope you enjoy the LS. I enjoy your educational videos, but the restoration serious are my favorite. Doing something like that is on my bucket list as well. Looking forward to the Supra videos ; )
