Today, Nelson is in the chair and he wanted to grow his hair out but get a haircut, however his hair had been thinned out massively, so Dan suggested he either not get it cut or go back a few steps and get a buzz cut (6 on top) with a skin fade and grow his hair out from there. Dan's buzz cut on Nelson was inspired slightly by Zayn Malik's buzz cut haircut.

One week doing a burst mullet and the next a buzz skin fade This man is silly talented π₯
-
I have never seen such a dense hair before. Itβll grow out just fine. Lucky guy.
-
Dan, you have an incredible talent, not just in cutting hair, but in describing, explaining, and illustrating your points. Amazing talent.
-
This is the best video as far as communication, mainly how honest and thorough Dan is. Itβs not just about the hair cut, it was about the whole explanation.
-
It could be interesting to have him back as he grows his hair out, so he (and we) can learn how to properly grow our hair long.
-
Best consultation so far. Dan was very kind and patient.
-
He is giving him a lesson. Very generous. Love it !
-
He should keep that buzz cut - it looks so good on him! And you have mad skills, by the way. This almost makes me wish I still had hair.
-
This is the cleanest buzz cut - great work, Dan. And also the client has great hair / hairline as well. Iβm really intrigued by the blending of the front hairline. It creates a very soft profile and and a unique look. Does this technique work on all buzz cuts or does the client need to have really dense, voluminous hair to make it work?

Great video. Dan gave what Nelson really needed and wanted...an education about cutting hair.
-
It would be an honor to get a haircut with Dan. Maybe one day..
-
Absolutely laughing at Dan dying inside when he asked if he had thinning scissors at home π π π π

You do great work. I like the way you show and explain why, you are doing each cut to reach a final result. This and the last of your videos, your customers have such a great head of hair to work with. Thank you.
-
His hair is already great looking as it is, it's every straight haired person's Envy... he's Handsome with that beautiful wavy hairy... I'm jealous... Wow you absolutely transformed him with that final Beautiful cut... Spectacular Job Sir Dan... I Absolutely Love your explanation and your gift of setting people at Ease with your explanation and basically a councilor position as you prepare to cut ones hair... we Love You Sir... Blessings to you & your family β¨οΈβ¨οΈβ¨οΈ

I learned more about my hair and shapes in the first 5 minutes of this video than my entire life. Love these

Awesome cut π Love listening to you explaining things Dan .. Very Talented Man πππ

I've got to say, as a lad with thick and dense hair, a #6 on top is such a good length. I'm currently on a #6 on top and #1 on the back and sides. It looks fresh. Thanks for the informative discussions/videos Dan!

Got my haircut booked with you next month! Been growing for a few months can't wait to get it done!

Dan looks at how the client's choice will work out in the long run before making actual suggestions. I think that's the point of his consultations, not just be like "ok whatever you say, Sir" and then weeks or months later the client will be like "i asked for this and the barber messed up" but maybe the barber did what you asked and it just doesn't suit you. With a skilled barber you see how good the haircut actually is days, even weeks after the fact. It should definitely be a team effort, not just sittting there thinking ok do this no matter how unrealistic my expectations are.
