Craiyon is an artificial intelligence (AI) image generator capable of generating images from text prompts. But what would this software have been like in 1988?

The graphics are state-of-the-art. We are surely living in the future 02:40 .
  • my only complaint is that the pictures are too comprehensible and perfect. Are you implying there's a person on the other end of the service drawing it rather than an AI

Computers will never get better than this.
  • AI will never replace human creation of art. That said, I want that ASCII drawing of a tree with a smiley face as a desktop wallpaper.

3:44 we surely live in the future when the image is going to generate 10 hours faster than thought possible

I used to watch this as a kid, and i loved how its not analog horror, its just an idea, a concept, trying to think what they could do with limitations, and im here for all of it!

What if Dall-E was made in the 1990’s?

I, as a Squirrel Monkey OG, get all the references in this video and approve of them. The baseball player holding a bat is the only unrecycled image.

Did not expect to see that Joy of ASCII reference lol

Suggestion: If Scratch was made in the 90s Another suggestion: If SpongeAI was made in the 2000s

I have a question regarding your video. "Raider" was the name of Twix in mainland Europe until 1991, but in the UK and the US it would always have been "Twix", since 1967. Was the super computer trained on European imagery, or did it come up with this on its own?

  • Idea: Craiyon in 1990 There is an MS-DOS Mode that only does pictures in black and white text.
