Siquijor Province is the third smallest province in the Philippines. It is located in Central Visayas with an area of 343.5 square kilometers (132.6 sq. miles). It has 6 municipalities namely, Siquijor, the capital town of the province, San Juan, Lazi, Maria, Enrique Villanueva and Larena. It has a population of 103,395 basing from the 2022 census.
This beautiful Island used to be part of Negros Oriental. It became an independent province in September 17,1971 under Republic Act 6398.
