Luigi Mansion 3 Playthrough - Part 11 - Final Boss: King Boo + Ending

One of my favorite details about King Boo in this game is one I feel a lot of people miss. In the first game he boasts about fighting you like "a true boo" instead of fleeing before immediately hiding in a Bowser suit and letting it do all the work. In Dark Moon, while fighting you directly this time, he still covers his face when you look at him and only attacks you while you're back's turned. In THIS game, he actively attacks Luigi and friends in a rage and never once hides his face the entire game. He's so pissed off at Luigi constantly defeating him that he overcame the inherent shy nature of his kind.

God damn. Bowser may try to beat Mario all the time, but King Boo has a downright bloodthirsty, psychopathic hatred for Luigi.

King Boo's dialogue is really intense in this game. Honestly, I can imagine him pulling out swear words/mature language if this game was not rated 7.

I love how in this version King boo almost always looked pissed, it’s like he’s so done with Luigi’s shit

Nintendo: builds successful flagship franchise of jumping platforms revolving around a guy, has his brother who can jump higher than him be a sidekick, and then gives the sidekick a spin-off series where he can't jump

I love how when king boo shows up peach spreads her arms as if to protect mario and Luigi. That's adorable and nice attention to detail Also king boo looks permently pissed in this game lol

You know you're in for a wild ride when King Boo looks pissed off

The fact that king boo has the capacity to just grab the EGadd shelter, blow it up, grab the occupants and slap them in a portrait means he is never fighting luigi with full potential

Bowser, having lost to Mario millions of times: still hangs out with him King Boo, having lost to Luigi two times prior to this: hellbent on having reality collapse on itself

Imagine being king boo for a moment. You’re trying to let the ghosts roam the world, and you’ve been stopped by a complete coward not once but twice, and is about to foil your plans AGAIN. I’d be just as pissed off as he is in this game lmao

“You were all ‘SHEEERRPP-SHLOOOOP-WHOOOP-SHLEEEOOORG!’” -King Boo

King boo is a little more scarier when he’s angry.

King Boo is the perfect nemesis for Luigi

These games are lowkey nightmare fuel. Getting trapped in a painting must surely be a fate worse than death, and King Boo is obsessed with killing Luigi at this point.

After seeing this boss fight, I kinda want him in smash now

King boo looked REALLY depressed in that cage. If maybe he could just turn over a new leaf. Never gonna happen, maybe

The animation from 2:59 to the Boss Fight is literally some of the best stuff in Nintendo history. Especially on Peach.

I love how King Boo has so much expression in this game.
