  • It is important to understand that not one African slave passed through Bristol and that only the ships used to transport slaves came from Bristol merchants in the triangular business ventures. Before that, Saxon slaves were transported to Europe and Ireland until that was stopped by King William 1st after 1066. All civilisations and cultures were enslaved and enslaved others through history until the UK banned the practice in 1805 and enforced the ending of transporting people out of Africa, bought from African Rulers, for the trade to the Arab and Ottoman Turkish Empires after complete castration and survival of that practice and to S America. Also, the UK bought the freedoms of all American slaves which caused a national debt that was only paid off in 2015. Slavery is complex and exists today, increasingly. No-one talks about it.
  • This is one of if not the best videos I have seen about the places to visit in the UK, informative and incredibly well shot footage, nothing looks forced and false, genuinly well done, other vloggers should watch and take note/s of how it should be done. I live just south of York in a city which was a supply hub to York by river in Roman times, this was particularly useful as they used the rivers which join us, this avoided theives etc by road which was common due to the ease of access, unfortunatly little evidence is left of the Roman occupation here except for street names etc.

Wow..what an amazing vlog. Thankyou for sharing this. Shows my country off in a way i dont think other vlogs do. You showed both the good and the bad of our history and the fact that even the darkest moments we dont hide from our history, and that we aim to educate and learn from our past mistakes. I love the locations you visited and our scenery is to die for, but i am biased lol. Thanks again. Hope you had an amazing time here. Welcome.back anytime. You showed true respect for our nation and iur treasures. So thankyou . Its appreciated. Not everyone is so kind.x

England is a beautiful, historic, unique country. York, Newcastle upon Tyne, Chichester, Lincoln, Canterbury, Salisbury, Bath, Colchester, Brighton, Harrogate, Chester; such a contrast. Really enjoyed this video. Nice to see England appreciated ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟโค๏ธ
  • Excellent โ€˜normalโ€™ tour of my wonderful UK. What a lovely family and thank you for your insightful views and opinions on our superb history as seen and heard from visiting Americans. Well done.

This might be the best video blog ever. My family is visiting Edinburgh, York, Bath, and London in a couple of weeks and now I will definitely do the York Castle Museum.
  • Very interesting, a few off-the-beaten-track destinations included in your journey. Glad you enjoyed your time here.
  • Thank you for showing how stunning the UK is and there is more than London.
  • In Bath you meant Georgian when you described Royal Crescent as "Gregorian". It's almost an anagram, so you're forgiven. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  • What a wonderful video of your stay in the UK ๐Ÿ˜Š genuinely made my heart melt , thankfully you got to see the real UK outside London, although you definitely need to come back to explore my gorgeous home of Yorkshire and the north more , another adventure I know you will appreciate โคโค

You're little one is adorable. Love the red hair; my younger sister was blessed with the same colouring & tons of freckles!

A great video - better than many "commercially" produced ones on the same subject.

Hi lovely video, my home town of Cambridge is well worth visiting. Very crowded in summer, especially at weekends, but punting on the river Cam is great.
