"I think of jollof rice...the war between Nigeria and Ghana," a Nigerian woman responds.

"I think of our roommate, Francis," two Canadian men reply.

"The word poverty comes to my mind but I could be wrong," a Palestinian woman responds.

"I think of beautiful men," a Columbian woman answers.

"Great dancers," a young man from the Philippines.

"I think of green and white, family, unity, a lot of culture and a lot of pride," a Jamaican woman replies.

    When I think of Nigeria, it brings to mind a land in which the people are very intelligent, with lots of potential for greatness, but are limited due to the tribal mentality, arrogance and short sightedness. Many of the Nigerians do not realize that Nigeria is only one African country out of over 50 others. If they were united it could help unite the rest of Africa, which could make Africa overall better.
