This is just one of those songs that you can categorically just know what rhythms you're gonna play for each section. The half time section at the end before the loop etc. It's a track that you hear so many times that even if you haven't heard the later versions that add drums, you can sus out the flow without ever having played it before. Very well written piece for sure

I've never played Pokemon, but when my step-grandson was around 7.. or so... don't ask, it's been that long.. he gifted me an Iron Maiden CD, and a gold metal Charizard, still in the case. It wasn't paper, it was the metal one. THAT was my most memorable Pokemon moment.

My favourite Pokémon memory is also my saddest one: the ending to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. Made me cry like a bitch. Consequently, my favorite Pokémon is Shinx, because he was my partner in that game.

Too many memories with Pokemon to just have a single favorite I think, but I think the Journey Across America/10th Anniversary events take the cake. It was the first time I competed in a video game tournament and got to go to New York City. Since then just visiting different Worlds (2014, 2018, 2019) and Go Fests are major highlights. Favorite Pokemon is probably Noctowl, the shiny to be exact!

I still remember when I completed my Red Pokédex! We were on a family vacation and driving somewhere. I was in the backseat playing when I finally encountered a Ditto. I remember placing the sticker in my strategy guide and being so proud 😊

0:23 Favorite pokémon memory? Weekend during my wee lad years., I was playing HeartGold, and enjoying the day with my younger brother. I had to do a chore, so I let him play. A few minuted later. I hear "OMG OMG HUNTER HUNTER!!!" He runs over to me and shows me a Shiny Hoppip. (Keep in mind he was only 6 at the time, but I taught him about shinies) First ever shiny we've ever gotten, and one of my absolute favorite moments with my brother. Bubblegum the Jumpluff is still with me to this day in Scarlet. Skip to when Alpharad did a stream with Jaiden.. He had to use the washroom if i recall, and Jaiden was playing. What does she find. A shiny Hoppip. Live. It was amazing. I genuinely teared up in joy because it felt like I was reliving that same moment with my brother over a decade ago, especually now that I'm in university, I haven't seen him in a few months.
