It is played every morning before the school starts.. That’s why Filipinos are trained to sing at early age though.
-
From elementary to college in the Philippines 🇵🇭 sang this enormous national anthem every morning before the classes started. Tears started to fall when the Tagalog version is on 😢. Proud to be a Filipino blood🙏🏻🙏🏻🇵🇭🇺🇸✌️✌️☮️☮️

You'll hear it before malls officially open at 10am. Everytime we hear it, people stops doing whatever they're doing, put our right hands on our chest where our hearts are and just sing with it.
-
Whenever the national anthem is played, everyone is required to stop whatever they are doing; everybody, should stand at attention. Failing to do so, could get you arrested for breaking the law..
-
Once the Tagalog version started, I stopped what I was doing and put my right hand on my chest, force of habit😅
-
Our anthem is played at school every morning at our flag ceremony
-
My most favourite part of this anthem was ANG MAMATAY NG DAHIL SA IYO( TO DIE FOR YOU) It has the most patriotic verses. That is why it is very important that you have stop and stand straight and sing it with your hand in your heart(if the Philippine flag is around).

You can hear Lupang Hinirang played in every government offices, schools, cinema, malls, radio and tv stations, airports and in all the celebrations taking place in the Philippines😊
-
When I was in grade school up to high school, this is played every school day before we get on with our classes. Nowadays, my children would only have this every Monday and Friday, I don't know why. This is also played in all cinemas before the first show and the last full show. Also played before any event or program. Also played in all TV stations before they sign on and off.

They play the Philippines National Anthem in major events and celebrations. You might have heard it in Cinemas before a movie starts. 😊 Malls also play it before they open for the day. 😊 The literal english translation of the Tagalog Lupang Hinirang (not meant to be sung) 😊 Beloved country, Pearl of the Orient, The burning [fervour] of the heart In your chest is ever alive. Chosen Land, You are the cradle of the brave, To the conquerors You shall never be oppressed. Through the seas and through the mountains, Through the air and through your azure skies, There is splendour in the poem And song for freedom beloved. The sparkle of your flag, Is a victory that is shining. The Star[s] and Sun of it Forever shall never dim. Land of the sun, of glory, and [of] love, Life is heaven in your embrace; It is our joy if there will be oppressors, To die for you.
