For me the best line in our national anthem: “Ang mamatay ng dahil sayo.” 🇵🇭
  • Hi, Ovela. Some suggestions: don't separate the pronunciation of the n from the g in words like "langit." It is not "lan-git" but say it like "lang-it." The phoneme "ng" is considered a single separate letter in Tagalog, Pilipino, and Filipino (these are spelling systems). be aware that these are different from the Spanish and English spelling systems (orthography). "Nagniningning" is pronounced as "nag-ni-ning-ning." Its root word is ningning (noun: shine, glow. or sheen). The prefix "nag+ni" converts it to the present participle (shining or glowing) and it is used as an adjective.

the way you put you hand in your chest..ugh😍😍😍 we do that while singing National Anthem 😍 love you Ovela...MABUHAY KA❤️
  • @itsperie
The literal english translation of the Tagalog Lupang Hinirang (not meant to be sung) 😊 Beloved country, Pearl of the Orient, The burning [fervour] of the heart  In your chest is ever alive. Chosen Land, You are the cradle of the brave, To the conquerors You shall never be oppressed. Through the seas and through the mountains, Through the air and through your azure skies, There is splendour in the poem And song for freedom beloved. The sparkle of your flag, Is a victory that is shining. The Star[s] and Sun of it Forever shall never dim. Land of the sun, of glory, and [of] love, Life is heaven in your embrace; It is our joy if there will be oppressors, To die for you.

  • @dump4kpop
I LOVED THAT YOU REALLY LOVED OUR COUNTRY WHICH IS THE PHILIPPINES XOXO
  • @jovenvaldez4779
I truly appreciate this reaction. Giving timento.listen to our anthem means so much to us.. the last note "Ang mamatay ng dahil sa 'yo" is a very powerful message which means (not direct translation) "..to die because of you --the Philippines" is how we love our country so much.
  • I love this reaction💙 also myself learning about the Spanish and English version/lyrics of our National Anthem which is "Lupang Hinirang" (/raise our flag) 😇 Azul means blue yes, in tagalog asul/bughaw Also the word "nag-ni-ning-ning" 😅 means "shining"✨ and yeah it's just a complicated word and how just to pronounce it easily. But by the way Thank you for loving our Language, we also Love you Ovela. More power to your channel👏
