In this video, we expose YouTubers who have been making FAKE 100 Days Minecraft videos.

This involves some of the biggest Minecraft creators on the platform. It's honestly sad to see the 100 Days trend be misused for easy channel growth.

NOTE: This video is not meant to generate toxicity, it is just to inform about fake Minecraft content being passed off as legitimate by very popular creators.

This is Fake 100 Days Minecraft YouTubers EXPOSED.

  • Heyo everybody! Thank you all so much for watching this video (unless you just came down to the comment section to read while watching, which is cool). I'll update this pinned comment if I need to clarify anything further than what's already been discussed in the video. Stay respectful, and also maybe like this video to get the algorithm on our side! :)

It takes a man like me a month to make a 100 days video, and that's with my man Wisefish editing the videos. It's a lot of work, but it's fun. I think if some of the people who were faking it put the time in to do the full thing, they may actually enjoy it. I like getting to make little stories and share goofy clips. As for the translations, I'm almost sure every single 100 days I've done has been ripped. I've also seen a few videos where people have gone through, and shot for shot recreated some of my videos. My man, that HAD to have been more work than just recording your own.

It’s notable haha to mention that Luke even admits he was wrong to try and protect this style of content and heavily encourages anyone to do 100 day style challenges.
  • @lunamoon7097
what makes LTN better, is that he actually apologized for trying to trademark the idea in his 100 days afk video.
  • "These videos are normally cut down to 20-30 mins" Forge Labs: laughs in 1-2 hours

I definitely agree with you that some are faking it for views, but it is extremely doable to upload a 100 days every week. 100 days is 33 hours, but only if you don’t sleep during the in-game nights, if you sleep every night it’s only 18 hours, so for me an average 100 days takes 20-22 hours to record, usually about 4 sessions across 4 days. If I full on go for it I can record one in 3 days (I did 100 days twice a week one week, it nearly killed me 😂). Then once it’s recorded it’s probably about 8-10 hours of editing, which someone else does for me, then I just go through edit in an intro, add music, and check everything’s fine, which takes a couple of hours. So with more than one person in a team it’s doable, but if I was editing it myself, obviously once a week is ridiculously hard work. And you can usually tell if it’s fake because they achieve barely anything in 100 days lol
  • WaxFraud, Skyes, ForgeLabs, LukeTheNotable and MogSwamp are the only 100 day minecraft youtubers I’ve watched so far that have been very legit and have very entertaining content.
  • @eslot_
A few years ago I would watch Jerome so much, I never would have thought he’d end up like this, how the mighty have fallen 😔
  • @Skyes
Just came across this video and I couldn't agree more. The biggest issue I have with fake 100 Days is how it pollutes the search results and makes it a lot more difficult for legitimate 100 Days to grow. It also paints other 100 Days content in a bad light. If theres hundreds of fake videos, new viewers will just assume that this is the trend, a garbage take with no legitimacy. I only see fake videos harming this trend yet it seems like it has no consequences on those channels. It takes me roughly a month to come up with a modpack/idea, record it, edit it and its a fun time telling a story and making a quality product. Just seems so soulless to fake it all and a lot more work, unless they dont care if they get called out or get "in trouble"?

LukeTheNotable was one of The OG. What I love about his style is that he narrates and explains the events that happens on each day along with the days that are boring, no skipping. They still explain them for a few seconds at the very least before moving on.

I absolutely love kolanii, his videos have such great quality balanced with his dry humour makes such good content, his voice is so nice to hear and isn’t loud and constantly persistent in us subscribing to him (not saying self promotion is bad just frequent self promotion is annoying and over the top) in kolanii’s 100 day videos not only does he actually progress and finish his 100 day challenge but also making extremely amazing builds and is constant to make everything look good aesthetically which I quite like, there’s not a bad word I can say for kolanii and I would never dare to, this is my utter respect and devotion for this man, making great content that’s high quality but also his dry humour makes it 10000000% more better to watch, love you kolanii, keep it up
  • @Kolanii
Honestly ya’ll are doing it all wrong. I can actually record a 100 days video in about 5 hours as I only play about 25 days but because of my extremely fast wrists and elbows I can build much faster than the average player. Then I send off the footage to 13 video editors who get it finished in about 3 hours. All in all, it takes about a day. Then I take a month off, and upload the video somewhere at the end of my break whenever I’m ready. I’m living the life and you should too. My advice? Start trainin those wrists and elbows.
  • @Legundo
Just had someone mention this video to me and I 100% agree, it REALLY bothers me when people don't put in the real work. It takes me and my editor about 100 hours to make each of these big videos, between my recording time, their editing time, and my doing VO/ReplayMod/Effects. Seeing people crank out fake videos, especially creators with a huge fanbase, cheapens that effort and honestly just really makes it harder to be an honest creator. Good video.
  • @k_balu-8104
Luke and ForgeLabs make good 100 Days, like they squeeze out good 3 hours of content, sometimes even longer, not only that they are incredibly enjoyable to watch for the person alone, especially Sean, he is goofball with Godtier humor.
  • @guard13007
This is fun to see when I was thinking about jumping on the trend, but with super short summary videos of what was built rather than editing down that many hours of footage.
  • I absolutely enjoy, playing the full 100 Days. I even make it a rule not to sleep, as I find the best stuff happens at night. It takes me a minimum 4 weeks to upload a video, and most of the time it ends up being 5 weeks in between. I know it can be easier to take the shortcut and fake content, but I feel its unfair to fool your viewers. Plus I enjoy seeing the story unfold while I play. I give myself 1 simple task, and it allows the story to write itself. Great video Fizzy!
  • @Sbeev
As someone who has made 100 day videos and done all the editing myself - I can say that it takes a LONG time to make a legit one. Even when sleeping a lot it's still not easy, and I always felt bad sleeping too much because I knew that it was just eliminating time that I could have spent doing cool stuff. I also had one of my ideas stolen and made into a video that was most likely faked so that was fun. Eventually my 100 day videos fell out of the algorithm, so I just kinda stopped making them at a certain point. Not 100% sure what caused the shift, but either way it was fun while it lasted.
  • Yeah I remember when LTN acknowledged when he tried to trademark “100 Days” survival videos. Not many creators are willing to admit when they messed up. At the same time I do like how he called out the people who put so little effort into it when there are creators (and their editors if they have them) who bust their arses making content for people to watch on a platform that’s oversaturated with faked low effort rubbish.
