This is a legal way to take power away from the Federal Reserve, and put it in the hand of the U.S. Mint, which is is a regulated government organization.
There is about a 7% interest rate annual of debt that is created with every FRN that are printed. This does not occur when new coins are minted. If there are more payments made in coins, there will be less Paper money in the system. Politicians will notice, and there will have to be a return to debt free money.

@gm19651 Thanks for the heartfelt greeting. I have to admit I think you may be right, but I have started already. The corner store told me he takes rolls of coins provided they look complete. That's a start (the guy is awake). I think people will be so broke come a year from now, they won't have a choice, loose change is all that will be left. It's worth hoping. Have a happy new year.
