Also, the reason why Sister Adella can potentially kill her is because of Arianna's blood, since it's implied Arianna is a descendant Cainhurst Vilebloods (for example, she wears the same kind of dress worn by Cainhurst nobility, and the description of her blood says "A member of the old Healing Church would know that her blood is similar indeed, to precisely what was once forbidden", which also is a reference to Cainhurst blood).
