This is what I love about breaking the boundaries of games, it's the pulling back of the curtain on how the developers manage to create these seemingly sprawling open world games on the hardware that they're given

So here is some lore: Miles died due to how cold it was in Antartica. He saw only white light after this his life flashed before his eyes as he fell trough Antartica. He then returned to NYC as a ghost.

Imagine the developers added in a very big scary fish that killed you with one bite if you went past the portal, you 100% couldn’t defeat it and it sent you back to the beginning of the game .. 😂 that would stop people from not gong through the portal

Bryan Intihar said that one of the things they worked on was keeping a lower detailed version of the map when you got teleported, that way they wouldn't have to load the whole thing back in when you vame back. Really cool to see hiw they did some of this stuff

I had just assumed that if you took too long to go through the portal, you would automatically fail the mission and have to reload a checkpoint.

That's pretty evident. They would utilise their resource when they need it and render it based on situation. But I would like insomnia don't solve these issue else they can add mission failed layer so that we can't explore these things
