I thinkg rating Norris ahead of Leclerc is... weird. Leclerc has been in the top 4 in all races until Canada, and after that he's been very unlucky (Canada: Engine issues; Spain: solid P5, though nothing spectacular; Austria: Oscar took off his front wing and he had to fight through the pack; UK: Arguably the worst weekend, wrong strategy etc. etc.) and after UK he got P4 and P3 in what is, at the very best, 3rd best car (AND got a pole in Spa,). Norris has had the best car since like Miami and won only once, when he should have won at least three times (and more If Mclaren hadn't pulled off a Ferrari strategy). He bottled every pole he's had, somehow ended up behind Max in Belgium even though they started 7 positions apart. Charles hasn't been perfect, not at all, there were a couple off scrappy moments (spinning in China quali, crash in Hungary FP), but saying he was worse than Lando is weird... Otherwise I generally agree, but these two are a bit off, in my opinion.

Leclerc has crashed the car once this year. In FP2 in Hungary. The crash prone criticism is way too unfair on him

in 2021 people were saying that without a dominant car Lewis is getting shown up for having a lack of race craft now Verstappen isn't winning by a whole hour people are saying the same.

To be fair to Daniel there have been multiple occasions where he's said there is something wrong with his car at the end of the race weekend and the team have indeed found something very wrong with his car. He also got Strolled that one time.
