small tip for anyone who is still playing and kinda new: dont burn war supplies when seeing them - first loot them and then burn them.

Dude this game is so fucking addicting, i've been playing since Tuesday and i kid you not im 40 hours in already and i haven't even finished the main story im just exploring and hunting legendary animals, looting and exploring for legendary/epic gear and doing side quests, i didn't think i'd like it this much tbh all that hate before release almost got to me when people said it was trash but its really great!

Playing the game right now it's the most amazing game ever!!

A little thing I figured out to avoid naval battles is find a sync point and find the nearest town and call your ship to the dock. Saves a ton of time sailing if your ship is lightly upgraded like mine.

How to kil every enemy: Find something high above the ground (cliff our a house) Bring the enemy there. Use Spartan kick. Enjoy (works really good with mercenaries)

I've been playing this for a while now, and at first I thought the stealth system was unkind to the Hunter class. Not so. You just need to understand how the Hunter class operates, as stealth and the way guards perceive you have changed from Origins. The bushes are your friend, and once you upgrade your bow and engrave it and your garb with hunter-based abilities, you'll be able to do those one shot one kill assassinations multiple times without being seen. You could probably get a few kills from the bushes, then move. As they come looking, use Call to Arms to group up a lot of the soldiers, then use Rain of Destruction to deals damage to a whole group while they're distracted with your Lieutenant. From there you can continue to shoot off normal arrows to boost your meter when needed. Most of the time they will not detect you if you remain hidden. If they do, you can move, then hide again. You can use Vanish if necessary, then you can set up again and continue the slaughter or prowl a bit and take out individuals. Just don't forget to neglect your Assassin stats. Also, if you're playing as a Hunter, I'd recommend not getting Arrow Master or the Beast Master abilities. The Arrow Master gives you access to all sorts of new types of arrows, but the truth is, you really don't need them. In fact, you need the resources you'd be spending crafting those arrows 24/7 much more for your SHIP than you need that elemental damage for opponents (which takes time to build up, assuming you hit your mark frequently). Later in the game, you will naturally gain access to an upgraded devastation arrow, and you can always switch to that if you're fighting stronger beasts or other Mercenaries. But believe me, you aspiring Hunters will want to save wood and other resources for upgrading your SHIP and your EQUIPMENT rather than always spending it on specialty arrows. So remember the KISS rule. The Beast Master ability is cool, but I found that it isn't actually really worth it, especially the first two levels of the perk. Simply put, the beasts just don't last that long in a real scuffle, which makes the time you spent knocking them out a waste really. You might as well just kill them and take their pelts. If you need a companion in battle, just use your Lieutenants, but the Beast Master perk is largely for show imo. If you're going to go Hunter, going all the way by trashing everything that isn't Epic or essential to your build helps to maintain your resources. Sell the Epic gear you don't need to maintain money, and don't spend money you gained in the world on random gear. Once you get a REAL set of Hunter Gear later in the game, or an agreeable set at least, you will be able to upgrade the entire set to your level and put Hunter engravings on them. Then you'll be unstoppable. Anyway, that's my advice for all you Hunters out there. Happy hunting!

I have being enjoining my time AC, progress in the game is slow because I am just having fun exploring the world of AC Odyssey. Odyssey. @JorRapor I have not been watching most of your coverage on the game, just because I want to be surprised by everything. Keep up the good work you do.

A major tip I would recommend is I noticed you can equip certain items like a hood or gloves or whatever and then you could change the appearance of them to whatever other Glover Hood you want. So what I've been able to do is just focus on upgrading one equipment set and if I want to change my appearance I change the appearance while still equipping the same set so you don't waste extra materials and upgrading different sets

Those last two were awesome tips! I saw that skill about no fallng damage and I was like, “whaaaa..? really?” I killed the first merc (out of spite, mostly) but now I’ll try recruiting for lieutenants. Thanks Jor! I usually hit like before I even watch the video😎
