"yeah I know theres a fox trying to outflank me but this grass is tasty"
  • @Fervorum
The fox is thinking: What a weird miniature sheep! It's probably the global warming.

You're so lucky to have captured this amazing footage! I've never seen a fox act like that in front of another dog with a human standing by. What a beautiful fox it is too.
  • @octapusxft
That was a very social fox. I would expect a wild fox to run when there are humans and dogs around

Very cute. Looks like they could have been good friends if they both weren't so shy.

Sorry that so many people are being rude to you and your dog. That was a beautiful fox. Your dog did turn to fox the fox and was smart to come to you. Thank you for sharing your video.

Such a beautiful fox!! This is just curiosity at it's best. People must remember that they are both canines. The fox was just seeing who's on his patch....

That's absolutely made my day I have a bichon aswell and when he's out the back garden all the birds come down to get feed as he doesn't bother with them at all great dogs.

I don't think i'd have had my little dog so close to a fox. The fox is used to people and shows no fear whilst it's plotting the best way to attack the dog. Foxes are smart and cunning, don't be fooled by the yawning and sitting down. Before you know what's happened, it's poodle burgers all round!!
  • Wow, that´s one beautiful russet lad! Not like your typical mangy and scaby urbanite. Also really bold. Magnificent beast! I also like how your dog is clearly confident that you would come to his aid should anything go wrong, so he shows no fear.

The fox doesn't show any aggressive behavior at all. He yawns, arches his body, ears back, goes around the dog rather than straight for him, tries sniffing his butt, is all interested in sniffing where the dog was standing. He lays down, yawns some more, sniffs the grass....he was curious, probably young and wanting to play. And when the dog shows no real interest, he walks away. Look at any two normal dogs in the park getting to know each other, and you'd see the same thing.

I'm just surprised the dog was so calm, too! I'm so used to small dogs just yapping at literally anything and everything.
