Werner Herzog Guest Starred On "The Simpsons" | Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend

i love that herzog seems to be totally unaware about conan having written for the simpsons.

His monotone voice works equally well for comedy and horror. Combined with his infectious sincerity, this man is a global treasure.

Herzog has this wonderful habit of popping up in shows where you’d never expect him. Parks and Rec, The Simpsons, The Boondocks, American Dad, The Mandalorian and even Rick and Morty. He also provided a voice for the English dub of an under appreciated Studio Ghibli film, The Wind Rises.

My favorite parody is Paul F. Tompkins doing Werner Herzog writing a Yelp review of Trader Joe's. 😆

Fred Willard and him were in The Boondocks and they said the"n" word a bunch, its really funny.

I watched the Reacher he was in while recovering from retinal surgery. I was terrified I would go blind. The movie in general was very entertaining. However, the scene Herzog references with the fingers had me in stiches laughing hysterically. He's delivering these monster lines in the tone of, "would you like some tea?" and that juxtaposition along with his voice and the eye make up just had me howling. It really helped my healing. And btw, I can see out of that eye. P.S. the line that just slayed me was when the "subcriminal" as he calls it, couldn't bring himself to chew off his own fingers at Herzog's character's behest, one of the henchman shoots the "subcriminal" dead and Herzog's character says in a complete monotone: "Always the bullet. I don't understand." I lost it.

Herzog should be cast more often, he is great as actor as well!

His guest appearance episode on The Boondocks is one of the best things in television history

If I can ever get him to be the voice of my GPS it would be a wonderful gift. Make every trip an existential journey.

I’m a little upset they didn’t mention his role in Rick and Morty, he practically stole the episode for me. That four line monologue he gives always kills me whenever I watch that episode Interdimensional Cable 2.

"But bounty hunting is a complicated profession" yeap in my isolation covid time, this Man voice was something that stayed in my memory.

His performance on Julien Donkey-Boy is so phenomenal and full of quotes.
