Juvenile doesn't get enough credit for how much this song did for rap. This song made rap mainstream to all colors and creeds, it got the whites dancing and shacking booty too. This song really opened the door for everyone else.

Everyone's talking about the girls so I just want to point out that the girls in this video were not the usual hired video models they were regular girls from that neighborhood who were picked out the crowd in that concert to do those dancing scenes. I LOVED that idea because it made the video much more realer and interesting.

Plot twist: Juvenile was promoting body positivity Long before it was popular.

Lil Wayne was only 15 in this video who would of known he'll become one of the best rappers in the game.
  • This just HAS to qualify as an official Old Negro Spiritual, at this point... ❤

34 years old and this shit still makes me bounce like I'm a teenager!!! There will NEVER be another anthem like this one and I swear you had to be there when the beat dropped in THE 99 AND THE 2000!!!!!!!! 😎😎😎😎✌️
  • This song is universal. By universal, I mean that somewhere in the world this song is playing, and somebody is shaking their ass.
  • The fact that this song is almost 23 years old, and still got 32 million views in almost 2 years after being uploaded to YouTube, shows the long lasting popularity of this song.

Loved that they didn’t use models or actresses for this video. Wish I was there. Looks like a good time to me. 😁
