NS Designs Wav shoulder rest modification

The NS Design Wav has a tough setup for chin rest and shoulder rest. The options are expensive, ie bendable chest and back tube attached to shoulder bracket for $275.00.

I got an idea to use an old camera bendable tripod, which has very bendable legs. I just screwed the top of it to the plastic shoulder rest. It works great!

The tripod I used, brand I don’t know, has an aluminum post running through where I drilled for the screw giving it nice support.
