Warren Buffett presides over the 2024 Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting — 5/4/24

Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

Amazing tribute to Charlie, getting to see all the clips and skits was something special. Like they said they needed permission to show it on CNBC with the actors, I'm really happy they did. The humility of Warren's words as he honored his lifelong friend was just simply one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard and seen someone do. I know he did also in the letter to shareholders. Also later on when Greg said "Nothing to add" hahaha. All and all this was a great shareholders meeting, the saddest but it wasn't sad. This made me happy, I'm glad it turned out so well.

Charlie saying "Slick, yo!" at 49:30 had me rolling on the floor in laughter!!!

This is the America that is great, Warren and Charlies represent it.

This is the saddest annual meeting in Berkshire Hathaway history in my opinion. It is the first time we don't see Charlie Munger, and clearly Warren Buffett missed him, also somehow it feels like this may be Buffett's last when he said he hopes to be here next year, not in a confident tone. I got a bit emotional after hearing that.

Warren Buffett is an amazing man. Hopefully we see him next year!

It takes a lot of humility to own up to the decision on selling Paramount stocks & the shifting consumer behaviour. That's the hallmark of Warren Buffett. Hope to see him again next year !

One of the best qualities of Warren Buffet is loving Charlie deeply without any jealousy. True friendship true love. Meetings Without Charlie is missing the best flavor.

Recently taking my time to watch all past videos, thanks CNBC AND BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY for us in Nigeria we have little to none knowledge about value investing as we are an emerging market. Been learning quite a lot from Charlie, Warren and most recently there apostles like Monish Pabrai. Pray Warren stays a decade more.

Mr. Munger was a cool man , in my opinion. May he rest in PEACE. Thank you for your helpful knowledge and philosophy. Excellent!

A more somber meeting this year, especially towards the end. I’ve watched all of these since 1994 at least twice and I’ve never heard Mr. Buffett that downcast. I suppose that was to be expected following Mr. Munger’s passing but it was honestly tough to watch. Cheer up Mr. Buffett! It’s not over yet!
