Unable to hunt this year due to an ankle injury, it sure was cool pulling this camera after season was over and seeing that I would have DEFINITELY been in the game on this spot. He showed up 45 separate times on this camera. I am pretty sure I had him on camera a few times last year as well.

Notice the large boil he grew in mid december... which luckily healed well.

Really cool. Looks like he pretty much healed up from that, whatever it was, pretty well....

I am not an expert, actually i know 0 about deer, but they are so elegant and they are one of my favorite animals. I am sorry about your injury, i am sure it was very tempting to see such specimen so close but so far away. His antlers look like a floating crown. One thing that i noticed, why is he so dedicated over the branches of the tree? Is he eating them or taking a taste? Or is he doing that to leave his scent? Very beautiful animal.
