In this episode in the 21st season of The Simpsons, there is a very noticable error involving the Eiffel Tower and its location relative to the Seine. Appears an animator noticed the error. I recorded at low sound so it wouldn't be as distracting when I paused.

Hearing Anne Hathaway sing Moon River in this episode always brings me to tears. Her voice is just so enchanting. It had the same effect on me, when I watched Les Miserables

Yes. The song is called Moon River. It was originally sung by Audry Hepburn in the movie, Breakfast at Tiffany. It is one of her most classic movies.

This was just on tv 5 minutes ago. I was looking up to see who was singing and found this. GREAT CATCH!!

I hope Disney gives them a happy ending, like they did with Moe and Maya

Aside from the unicorn, the last seen was sweet.

Oh god, this song in this episode is so amazingly beautiful. Shame it's been muted on this video. Oh well, I'll find one.

It's a leitmotif of the same song Moon River. The song in between though is a Simpsons original composition. It is used later (I believe in the S24 premiere when Bart is in his room, upset over why women hate him).

Yes, it's Moon River, the very end. "We're after the same rainbow's end; waiting 'round the bend; my huckelberry friend; Moon River and me". I cut down the volume so as to not make it annoying when I paused.

And interestingly, the name of the episode where the song in the middle is reused (the S24 premiere) is Moonshine River.  And more interestingly, it aired like a week or so after Andy Williams (who was one of the two who made the song famous) died.

When I heard Anne Hathaway singing in this episode, I thought I saw the heavenly vision of an angel on my TV screen. THAT'S how good her singing was to me. Not that many singers out there have as beautiful of singing voices as Anne or even Blackmore's Night's own Candice Night. Too many of them rely too much on synthesizers and auto-tuning

You should have played the song. Who cares about the errors in this episode. This is one of the nicest Simpsons ever. :)

I agree. I mean, i like her as an actor but I didnt know she can sing THAT well. She reminded me of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys!

It's Moon River, popularized by the recently-deceased Andy Williams.

Oh good one, I bow down before your knowledge.

When the Oscars begin; if Annie or Les Mis doesn't win at least one award for something, I will start to think there's something wrong with the viewing public
  • @DrAndyShick
I didn't want to cause noticable breaks in sound. Plus, her singing is short (starts with "we're after the same...")
  • Alternate Ending Penelope: Just my imagination. Krusty: No it wasn't I came here looking for you, and I fell off the boat Penelope: Krusty! My Borscht Belt baby! You changed your mind. Krusty: Ah, I'd rather be a happy schnook than a noble shlumpf. Bart (After Hearing About Krusty Getting Back With Penelope): I Am Sick Of The Way He Treats Me He Disrespects Me And I'm Just Supposed To Accept it I Don't Think We Can Be Friends You Freak Me Out Krusty: I'd rather be a happy schnook than a noble shlumpf Bart: That's What I'm Talking About Later Dude McDuff: Hmmm That Boy is A Mystery To Me Sometimes Johnson: Oh He's Just Jealous McDuff

@sadlobster1 It's never really clarified. While it is never shown that they break up, they aren't seen together again, and I think Krusty has since pursued someone else, but I could be making that up. Chronology applies to certain things in this show and not others.
