Well, they certainly weren't wrong when they said things would take a turn for the worse as Jeralt and Byleth investigate an abandoned Garreg Mach chapel. The demonic beasts threatening the students weren't so hard to deal with. Monica, the student I always had suspicions about, stabbed Jeralt in the back, quite literally, in cold blood. I felt so sad seeing Byleth shed tears for the first time, for the death of the father. After Jeralt's murder, Byleth uncovers Jeralt's diary, and discovers why her father was so suspicious of Rhea. Well, I think that only served to increase her suspicions of Rhea as well.

Sothis is so supportive of Byleth, trying her best to cheer her host body up. She may be sharp, but she's still very kind overall. On the other hand, Edelgard pretty much showed tough love. She is right though, even though her words were quite harsh.
