What surprised you about CT nightlife when you moved here?

What I like about CT is that it has no “night life” (at least where I grew up and plan to raise my kids). However, if you get bored there’s Boston or NYC a train ride away or two giant casinos in the middle of the woods. Have at it. I think CT is a calm suburban state; which I love. And miss very much. I don’t like the light pollution. And yes, we do party in the woods lol. Crazier parties than any I saw in the city lol.

I definitely avoid the nightlife. Too much crime in New Haven, etc. Not to mention, I am in my mid-40s with a wife and 2 teenagers. Too many responsibilities...lol
