    Julianne Nicholson wasn’t on my radar before Mare of Easttown. But man, did she blow me away. Such deep-felt understanding of the Lori character, and such powerful performances. It’s silly to make it a competition, but she almost stole Kate Winslet’s thunder (who also gave, I think, the best performance of her life). Such strong and wounded woman characters, and such great actresses.

    Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen this project ! Great acting, dead on Pennsylvania accents! Great casting from stars to regional cast. Writing was magnificent and so was directing! Wish there were more well written projects like this one.
