Also, this woman just lost her husband of 34 years eight weeks ago. I feel awful for her having to do all this press and ride the success of her shows while she is mourning.
  • @BobBallVO
I’m glad to be alive during the Jean Smartaissance.
  • I read she lost her husband recently, and it made me tear up. I wish the best for Jean <3 She's a treasure.

She kooks like a million bucks!!! I know she is older than me. I just checked. She's 69, she will be 70 in September. SHE LOOKS FABULOUS!

I will always love Jean Smart's laugh, and I'm so glad that at 34 I know who she is. Designing Women was everything. 😊

Jean absolutely crushed it on Hacks. It has been so great to see her in such a string of great shows and even better roles. From Legion to Watchmen to Murder Durder, I could watch her read a phone book and still be intrigued but the characters she has been playing lately are simply delicious to watch! Please cast her more! Everyone needs to Get Smart!

Shout-out to anyone who was lucky enough to see her Lady Macbeth in 1980 at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre... She's a dream.

I discovered Jean Smart because of HBO and she is a monster talent. I really wanna see more from her. Watchmen and Mare were both great roles for her.

Jean Smart is incredible in everything she is in. She stole the show in 24, was intimating in Fargo, was a complete badass on Watchmen, and she is absolutely hilarious on Mare of Easttown.

I love her laugh, it's so infectious!
  • I love Jean Smart. She's one of those actors whom it's always a pleasure to see.
  • Jean is accomplished at both comedy and drama. That is a rare combo. Her performances on Frazier were hysterical, she blew me away with her evil character on Fargo and she was great in Marr of .... I remember her falling down the stairs.. glad she didn’t do permanent damage. Love Hacks. Great lady.
  • I have loved Jean since Designing Women. She was so funny, beautiful and real...and she still is. God bless her.
  • @PalmurcioWorld
She's absolutely fantastic. And she has such a great sense of humor, so refreshing.

Shes AMAZING on Legion, Fargo, Watchmen, Hacks, and Mare. I cant wait to see what she does next
  • @veggigoddess
She's so underrated! she was one of my favorite characters in Garden State. I've never understood why she wasn't a leading lady and major films
  • @Don-md6wn
I didn't realize what a terrific actress Jean Smart is until I saw her in Season 2 of Fargo on FX.

She's good in everything she's in. I just watched a few episodes of Frasier that she was in and she's so funny. She should get an Emmy nomination for Mare performance. She has 3 Emmy wins 2 which were for her Frasier guest appearances.
