The most beautiful shot in tennis: Roger's backhand!

What Federer has done(records mainly).. may or may not be repeated ..but the way he has done... his gameplay, footwork every other aspect of game will NEVER EVER be repeated by anyone in future

Federer was really the Rolls Royce of tennis. Everything he does, from serve till the winner he looks like a hawk gliding smoothly yet extremely swiftly towards its prey. You could argue that Rafa has a better reach or that Djoker is more aggressive but no one brings the class to the court which he had. The elegance that he possessed is unmatched.

Rename that to : 10 minutes of Federer huge shoulder muscle

He fought against top backhand players and still won in several rallys. James Blake, Gasquet, Wawrinka, etc. His backhand is the best, drop shot, volley, overhead smash, ball precision, strength, pure artistry, beautiful to watch. He's the complete package for goat category.

0:58 Very rare to see Nadal stop that early. Even he's thinking, "I'm not getting this one". 🀣

Federer should win an award named BEST INNOVATION IN SHOTS . Really nobody can match RF when it comes to shot making.

I dont know if a lot of people know this but Federer's backhand improved immensely after Ivan Ljubicic became his coach who imho had the strongest one handed backhand ever. Before Ljubicic Federer mostly used a heavy spin backhand with finesse, now he has legit power .

It amazes me that over the last few years on some quite important occasions his backhand hasnΒ΄t been the problem, but his forehand has.
  • @Rick-tf4dl
My favorite when Federer comes over top hitting the ball on the rise, especially the half volley top spin for a winner and just think he hits one handed back hands. THATS AMAZING TALENT

Seriously not a single backhand from 2006 Masters Cup final vs Blake??? That was his greatest backhand match of all time!
