Address by John Steenhuisen on the 2024 election outcomes

AS A BLACK SOUTH AFRICAN I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE Mr STEENHUIZEN AS MY PRESIDENT. THIS PARTY IS NOT DISRUPTIVE AND IS VERY PROGESSIVE. IT DOESN’T INCITE VIOLENCE AND I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT IT IS CAPABLE OF CREATING A BEAUTIFUL SOUTH AFRICA AGAIN

As a bystander Kenyan, I feel like most educated South Africans voted for the DA

It will be a great feeling if only this was my President....

JOHN WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU AND THE DA THATS WHAT WE VOTED FOR.

With the DA at the helm, South Africa will be in good hands

Only DA left , the hope of the people, hope of the future.

Mr John Steenhuisen, you and your other leaders have worked SO hard for all of us, and we appreciate every drop of sweat and tears. Please give yourself and the other DA leaders a bit of a breather. We know you need it, and we also know that you will be stronger after a short rest to carry on the good fight for all the people of South Africa

I despise the ANC... but for the sake of the country... the ANC and the DA working together is infinitely better than ANC with EFF and/or MK running the show.

I am mother of two daughters and a son and two grandchildren, whom I love with my whole heart. I have family and friends whom I love dearly. On 29 May, I got up very early and asked God to help me to decide whom I should cast my vote to. I knew which party would get the most votes, but I wasn't afraid. I love my country and my people of South Africa so much, regardless of colour, race or faith. We are all beautiful in the sight of God. Make our country great, with no racism, favouritsm, corruption. Treat each other equally. I voted for DA because I have hope in you, Mr Steenhuisen. Make us a proud nation.

Only DA can save our beautiful country.
