:_Chit:One day Fred is going to be in the bed of a Pickup Truck when they pull it out of the water, ... :_Wait:
  • @The.Real.Timmii
getting into the water in a known crocodile area seems not a good idea
  • Ironically, it looks like a marine services company truck. I see "boat lifts" on the side of the bed.

Guys. You do not want to go bloop bloop while Alfred is manning the Chit Show camera. Wait till he leaves or takes a bathroom break. Unless you want to be the Star of the show that day.

I wonder how often, on average a vehicle goes "ploop", "ploop", once or twice a month?

Why is it so many trucks go bloop bloop at this ramp? It seems like way more than usual for most boat ramps.

For jigging, the Daiwa Saltiga. Very compact, available in left or right hand version, and over 40 lbs of drag. I fish Penn, Shimano and Daiwa for saltwater. The Shimano Tiagra is a bit narrower than Penn International. The International is wider and smaller in diameter, and holds on average 100 yards of additional line. The Talica has one of the worst designs IMO for switching from low range to high range with that little button. Talica prices are crazy compared to the Tiagra. For a second, when I saw the blub, blub, blub truck moving I thought Ford tough. Then the tow rope came into picture. Headed to a Co-Part lot near you.

Are you ever going to catch another truck as it actually goes into the water?

There is so much stupidity, poor design and serious incidents going on at that marina, Haulover Inlet and possibly other places it must be costing insurance companies and ultimately their other clients billions in terms of expenses causing increased premiums for everyone. Isn't it well past time the authorities governing those places put systems in place to prevent or limit those occurrences? Surely the cost of installing and manning mechanical launching systems and boat design specifications suitable for Haulover inlet would be far less than the current losses, or is it simp,ly a case of waiting for Fred the Croc to kill or maim someone before anything is done about it?
