Airbus Beluga is actually relatively easy to find, if you search over France/UK. It flies from Toulouse (France) to Chester (UK) and Hamburg (Germany) quite often, I've seen 2 next to each other at Chester this week once or twice

It’s cool to see what airlines do for their last flight in a certain aircraft. Like for example Qantas did their kangaroo logo as it’s final flight path.

I once saw a Russian government plane over Ukraine, I think it was a Sukhoi Superjet 100.

The "An-225" was probably not the actual An-225. The "FCKPUTIN" was sighted after the real An-225 was already destroyed.

Belugas as mentioned are fairly common, see them often over my house in Switzerland. Coolest thing I’ve seen was a few years ago, late at night I came home, staring at the sky as usual, say some strobes high above Zurich area, with some strobes not far behind it. Checked FR24 and it was the 747 with the side opening telescope thingymabob, maybe a NASA reg if I remember correctly. I put on live ATC for the area and listened to Skyguard talking to 2x Swiss F18 who were practising night intercepts/escorts on it, it was a bright moon and I could just make out a couple of contrails following it. The next few nights the 747 toured around EU, quite often out over the Atlantic zig zagging around. Very cool indeed, prob never happen in the area again.

0:36 This is the amphibious BE-200 aircraft owned by the russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (МЧС). When this screenshot was taken, a wildfire had arised the day before in the mountians of the costal town called Gelendzhik (ironically, the town that I live in). The fire had been spreading for an entire day, mercilessly burning to ashes the endangered Pityusa pine trees. Citizens of our town were begging for help and even tried extinguishing fire by water buckets (which of course did't help). After the numerous attempts of asking the goverment for the help, a pair of BE-200 amphibious planes were finally scrambled from the Rostov Platov airport heading south. As the BE-200 plane is incredibly effective in terms of extinguishing, the pilots swiftly managed to put out the wildfire, which was mostly likely caused by the uncovered high-voltage wires.

honestly this is pretty cool to see these planes fly over certain areas

Probably my rarest catch on Flightradar24 is NYT691 just 5 minutes prior to it's crash back in January. I clicked it off without thinking much, considering it's just an ordinary flight. Didn't know it'll unfold into disaster a few moments later.

I reminded that I caught an usaf awacs patrolling over kiev with "REDEYE6" callsign before the war but I don't remember the exact date it's fun to observe such things on flightradar
  • @Strawhataviation
I saw a doomsday plane which was over the Celtic sea but the callsign was GRIM99. Shortly after tracking I went back to check on it but it wasn’t on the flightradar anymore.

I found an MD-11 FedEx airplane once. It was pretty cool to see
  • @Kuzo32
Yesterday I saw 2 USAF B-1 Lancers (supersonic bomber) flying between Norway and the UK. At first there was only one flying with 3 KC-135, then later there were the 2 of them
  • @LeynardMOU2222
The last 747 Qantas flight made me cry, because they drew a kangarooo🥲😪
  • @Tofu69
Ive had the doomsday plane right over me while I was working on the ramp, it was at like 5000 feet landing at wright-Patt AFB
  • @travis69665ify
My favorite catch was the Boom XB-1. It wasnt flying but was out in the runway at mojave. Probably more testing before its first flight i presume
  • @Arthree_
I’ve saw the Doomsday Plane and the Beluga’s and witnessed the Air Koryo flight from Pyongyang to Vladivostok.
  • @koharumi1
Air Koryo is a great airline. They have only had one crash. Compared to Korean Air which has had 17. Though 2 were not their own fault as they were both shot down in seperate incidents.
