  • Magical girl anime and henshin hero shows both have way too many items modelled after modern tablets and cell phones these days. Bring back the buttons and cranks.

with the water filled tap, i cannot imagine how many small children broke the little window and spilled the glittery water everywhere lmfaoo😭

'As an adult with adult money I make...financial decision' Girl I felt that in my bones. Great video though, I've never seen some of those toys before
  • @Gugunet26
I know that most toy companies don't really consider how their toys will age with time while designing them, but maybe they should 😭
  • @Lunasera
Water in toys rarely is a good idea but a legit perfume bottle in that design would be great. Imagine filling it with your favourite perfume. Or for kids make it a perfume making kit.

if an old toy is sticky, it’s likely that the plasticizer is leaking. if you’re up to it, washing it off every time it gets sticky should help, but as far as i know there is no way to permanently fix this. this can spread to other toys though, so it’s best practice to keep sticky toys like this away from other toys so their plasticizer doesn’t leak. feel free to do your own research as there is lots of information about plasticizer on the internet!!

Hearing the word vintage around a show I used to watch religiously as a child, hurts my soul LMAO

I understand that small removable parts are troublesome in terms of collecting older items, but those have always been the main appeal for me when it comes to these things. The rhythm tap and Hana's compact having those little removable seeds is SUCH a big allure for me. I've almost gotten other versions of those toys before, but because I couldn't tell if those bits were removable I didn't wanna risk it. Since like, that's kind of the entire magic for me personally.

I remember having the candy can wand, sadly, it was not durable and broke the minute one of my relatives stepped on it. RIP the best wand from my childhood.😢
  • @noblestea
I'm so happy that the Kururu Pollon found it's way safely to you!! I was just WAITING for you to bring up the water filled pact. My other doremi collector friend was distressed with how much a nightmare hers was.

Whether it's old and crusty, it still remains a gem to me <3 I also REALLY love the Sweet Poron ! It's a literal candy cane and I just love pink candy themed wands with bows and glitter <3
  • They didn't sell replacement parts? Seems like a really obvious missed opportunity. There's no way they didn't know that kids were losing pieces of their flagship toy. They almost certainly would've predicted that happening. Maybe they just wanted people to buy a brand new one?
  • @blippo
Thank you so much for featuring our Blippo lunchbox and pencil case. Glad you love them! 🎀🎀😻😻
  • @aromaladyellie
For the candy cane wand nowadays they can fill it with like, probably little silicone beads or something. I wonder if some of these could be remade by like, fans with 3D printers lmao. And make them better and more lasting.
  • I've seen toy/electronics restorers reduce or even sometimes remove yellowing entirely on older products by putting some sort of cream on them and leaving them under a UV light (or sometimes just putting them outside if they live in a sunny enough area). I'm not sure how well that works with that specific kind of pink plastic but it might be worth looking into for the ones that are aging worse? I've been meaning to watch this show since I was a little kid and bought a box of pencils with the characters on the at a garage sale, didn't know who they were for years but the pencils were so pretty and the characters were so cute I'd just space out looking at them. Maybe this'll finally be the push I need.

My sister has two of these wands, and although not cloudy, the rod had been slightly scratched by the previous owner, so I used some holographic transparent vinyl to wrap it up and it looks so fun! It's not jarring and makes it look more magical eheheh
  • @cosmoslogical
13:55 Im dead, why does it sound so depressing 😂😭. Great video btw, I've never seen the show, so it was cool to see all the item
  • @Bloomkyaaa
I didn't even know these toys exists as a kid. Now that I am an adult, I can waste all my money trying to get them!
  • @VampiricVik
"I hope I just didn't describe anyone there" while I was thinking 'just like me' made me choke
