Warhammer 40K Mechanicus is a turn based tactical game about making spooky scary skeletons go back to sleep and stealing all their stuff. Many thanks to @Extellus for his work.

"Necrons are Undead Space Egyptians" Undead ROBOT Space Egyptians.
  • Me: Oh god it's going to be like XCOM MG: There's no such thing as accuracy; if the weapon's in range it hits. Me: Praise the Omnissiah!
  • @bloodygypsy3740
I love what they've done with the voice acting. They make the necrons speak pure English, and the "humans" speak so binary that it's alien
  • @itsDvoyka
"Welcome back to Warhammer, there are no space marines this time around" This... I need more of this
  • @rmatt53
Game summary: Space robot priests attempting to stop zombie robot Egyptians from killing them and taking precious artifacts to study. Actual game: The younger generation breaks into an old folks home to flex on the old people, steal their stuff, blast new age music, and vape really hard.
  • My favorite part of Mechanicus is that just when you get used to the binary hissing of your robuddies and have settled in, you hear a necron enemy talk to you in perfect English and it freaks you out nearly as much as it freaks the AdMech. It's *great*.
  • I love the fact that the Mechanicus is a straight up heretical organization in the Imperium and the only reason they haven't been wiped out is because whenever the question of persecuting them comes up it's just met with a big "I'd like to see you try"
  • @cuboidham
God that noise after “for the machine is immortal” gives me shivers every time, it’s so perfect
  • @catinksreal
"i wonder why mandy's videos are taking so long?" >full blown animated intro oh, cool
  • The sound design in this game absolutely blew me away. Especially the soundtrack. This is true Warhammer 40K fan service.

"Picture Inspector Gadget and he's a monk and he fixes your car." And the car is the size of Rhode Island and in outer space?

    DoW Mechanicus: "I am moving!" Mechanicus: L O U D I N C O H E R E N T E L D R I T C H L A N G U A G E

I love how both armies don't go all shouty like conventional 40k troop. They wage battle silently its creepy.
