"stopped casting" and 'too busy to be acting' are two different things.

So Hollywood didn't stop casting Mike Myers... Mike Myers quit auditioning... I wonder if these people know their headlines contradict their reporting.

Mike Myers estimated net worth is $175 million, he'll be just fine.

To summarise: Hollywood haven't stopped casting him as he's been involved with other ventures of his own choosing. And despite it being mentioned that he's typecast for comedic roles, they slip in at the end that he's filming a noir thriller this year. Good going, Looper.
  • His best character by far is not Wayne or Austin Powers, it is Dr. Evil. I honestly think he could make a hilarious movie just based on Dr. Evil alone.

So I Married An Axe Murderer was by far his best movie. Criminally underrated.

Holy shit, that's what he looks like in the thumbnail now?!

Mike Myers is in a class by himself. I really love this guy, and I respect his life choices. Btw/ I liked “ the Love Guru”, and even bought the dvd. 🤗 I’m happy he found his joy 💖

Myers pushed the boundaries as a comic genius but also knew of its dangers. Passionate intensity can go into berserk-rhetoric and wacko-land. He needed space from crazy making and try to find solid, safe place to feel grounded. His fatherhood provided him with the unconditional love and devotion he had need of.
  • What do you mean "Stopped casting"??? He has his own production company and his own money... nobody can tell him what to do, just like Mel Gibson.. he's killing it.
  • @Justin-cl7lg
He literally is a legend.. why are we acting like he’s just some actor
  • I’m only on here to say two things: I love mike and I love the love guru it’s one of his best in my opinion

He's on a net worth of $175M so Im pretty sure he's just choosing to retire

Stop casting? He made a butt load of money. I'm guessing he can do whatever he want's, including produce and make another movie if chooses to do so.

Miss his comedy so much. He's a genius god bless mike hope to see you on the live action big screen again.

well, I guess Bohemian Rhapsody was a pretty amazing script. The cast were all in awe of him and have said in interviews that he was an amazing actor. Mike Meyers is a friend of my brother. They came up in comedy at the same time. I met him once at a party at my brother's house. He was very quiet and shy and a really nice guy. Very down to earth.
