Taking it apart so the windshield isn't anywhere near the acetone is really the best option. Also allows you access to the insides so you can paint the dashboard/seats/whatever while you're in there.

Wow, I want to thank you so much for this video! I found your channel today on Youtube, and you already gave me an amazing tip! With little money, I can modify my hotwheels in a neat way! I was looking for both in English and Portuguese, a channel that showed which products you can use to clean, repaint, Congratulations on the channel!

  • Hi, I just found your channel recently and I really like what you're doing! I read that you are a car designer too. Cool. Personally, I think that girls having an interest in cars and even model cars is an important message to send. Good for you. It's a great channel and your enthusiasm is infectious. I'm a new subscriber (#3.55K +1) and have hit the notification bell to get all your latest content. We share the same hobby. I'm doing restorations on my channel. Mostly 1:64 stuff. Just starting out though, so I'm still a beginner. I hope my stuff brings as much joy to viewers as yours does for me. Greetings from just south of you, in Basel, Switzerland - Andrew

    Great video love the channel!
  • Very cool! There's a channel called Hansen's Speed Shop that is hosting a budget custom diecast build off and this is a great example of how one can go about building a custom with just items around the house. Very good advice for this project. Great tutorial!
