Whoa, after ferry commuting 26 years Metro vanpool driver and NEVER seen the washovers like this. Taking on water without being able to pump it quickly could sink a ferry pretty quickly. Thankful they all got there safely.

So many roll on-roll off ferries have sank because of that exact problem. This situation is made worse by the fact that the vessel was not designed to deal with those high seas. It's like taking a pool tube down a white water rapid.

Honestly, this is just pure negligence by the captain and Washington state ferry system management. This was a well forecasted storm, the hazard was known but they decided to move that ferry anyway. Captain and management should be fired. This is in addition to the ferry groundings due to poor systems maintenance, an aging fleet that is years away from relief, cancelled ferries due to lack of workers, etc. This whole department of our government is sick and needs a complete overhaul.

Why was that boat even out there? Really WSF ?... Really? Oh by the way King 5...All of those cars are damaged (totaled). Salt water baths will do that.

All of that water is not suppose to be on the ferry. The water should have been redirected off the boat!!! I have couple of ideas that could have been used to redirect water. I don't know why the captain of the Ferry was not prepared to redirect water.
