the end is reversed & it says "wouldn't the world be better if we took nonsense more seriously?"

If more songs like this could exist, I'd memorize them all. This is maybe one of my favorite songs in existence.

    This song was made in 2005. It’s 2020. It’s still a masterpiece.

even if the lyrics I can sing along to are short...they feel far more powerful than longer lyrics does anyone else feel that way?

I really like this song especially near the end when it's the humming part how a second voice it joins in and it's very low that song that part give me goosebumps... I don't know why

So the song's about a person who fell in love with someone (I get the vibe the two were only ever friends) who became smitten with another, and when they tried to move on they found they could not, which made the friend uncomfortable to the point that the friend had to confront them and say "you need to find someone else, I'm not interested." you know it's a great song when the artist can use imaginary of something entirely unrelated and still have the meaning be perfectly conveyed.

i wish here were more songs like this. what genre would this technically be?
  • @cat-vc3yk
this really paints a picture in your head a beautiful, beachy picture
  • “We were playing in the sand” two friends were hanging out “And you found a little band” one of the friends found another person “You told me you fell in love with it” his friend loved the other person more than him “Hadn’t gone as I planned..” they drifted away “When you had to bid adieu” his friend has to choose: him, or the other person “Said you’d never love a new” his friend chose the other person and left him behind. “I wondered if I could hold it and fall in love with it too..” he wondered if he could hang out with both of them, everything would be normal “You told me to buy a pony but all I wanted was you..” his friend told him to get lost, but he only wanted to be friends with them..
