“Their strategy is to throw bodies at the problem until they run out of bullets” the thing is, that’s what makes Grimm terrifying, they are an unending horde that never tires or lets up. That’s why the key to their defeat is not armies and a war but a group of heroes that bring hope to the people. Or at least that’s how is suppose to be, the whole victory found on a simple soul thing. As for the Wendigo, considering how in real life mythology a Wendigo is created when a desperate human eats another human I can imagine a dark tale of a silver eye warrior lost on a frozen forest weak, cold, starving and near death just for Salem to appear perhaps offering her regenerating tainted flesh to “save” them but in reality it being the first step to their corruption and mutilation into a deformed beast. Talk about a GRIMM fate! Eh? I’ll see myself out…
